CVC Home Service Success Summit 2022

The 2022 edition of the CVC Home Service Success Summit will take place ONLINE on February 7th. One of the sponsors is United Infrared. In this video, Peter Hopkins talks about thermal imaging cameras and the need for home service professionals to add an IR camera to their services. Energy auditors use thermography — also known as infrared scanning — to detect structural defects in a house or commercial building. Thermography measures surface temperatures by using infrared cameras to see light that is in the heat spectrum. The most accurate thermographic inspection device is a thermal imaging camera, which produces a 2-dimensional thermal picture of an area. A thermal image identifies potential problem areas of moisture intrusion, air leakage, missing insulation as well as potential issues with electrical systems and general construction.
