Ocean Drive in Daytona Beach is on the Sand

This is a quick look at the route to the ocean via Silver Beach Avenue from Daytona’s South Beach Street Historic District.

East Orange Avenue passes thru the South Beach Street Historic District, the Daytona Beach / Halifax Area Chamber of Commerce, then becomes Silver Beach Avenue.

Once on the oceanside of the Halifax River, it’s only five blocks to the beach, where you can drive your car on the sand during daylight hours.
