This is a test video for a new project that will be built underwater a few miles southeast of Miami, FL. The 12 acre “development” features a limestone foundation to help the formation of a new coral reef system which will provide research and educational opportunities for marine biologists, as well as recreational diving in forty feet of water.
Located in the Miami/Key Biscayne Special Management Zone, the project will contain nearly 10,000 limestone boulders, arranged in a pattern spelling out: Protect Our Ocean. Save Our Reefs.
Funding for the project will be through a memorial program, placing the ashes of cremated individuals among several themed areas, such as Scuba, Marine educators, Powerboat owners, Surfing, Celebrities and Fishing.
